Updates

Sup Sup everybody!!  Things once again be happening.  Today was a hard day.  First off, we went off the grid for a couple hours when our modem went kablooey.  Even my game requires internet!  In the end, I had to resort to actually working.  I put away the tree and all the ornaments, which is a lot harder than it sounds because we  have so many ornaments and there are so many boxes.  So that's whats up.

Next 10 life lessons:
11. Make peace with your past so it doesn't screw up the present.
12. It's okay to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be kept secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye.  But don't worry; God never blinks.
16. Life is too short for long pity parties. Get busy living, or get busy dying.
17. You can get through anything life hands you if you stay put in the day you are in and don't jump ahead.
18. A writer is someone who writes.  If you want to be a writer, write.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood.  But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.

No update on the dance front, but it is Feb 24, so no worries yet.

Hope this day finds you well.  And another thing from this book: Say every morning: "This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice in it and be glad."  And sometimes: "Thank you, God, for another day of life.  Give me the grace to live this day deeply, fully, and joyfully."  This was in the chapter on lesson 17.

  1. So I know you hate Tim and this has nothing to do with the post but,

God asks Aaron Rodgers: "What do you believe?" Rodgers
says, "I believe in hard work, and in staying true to family
and friends.” God can't help but see the goodness of
Rodgers and offers him a seat to his left. Then God turns to
Tim Tebow and says, "What do you believe?" Tebow says, "I
believe in your total goodness, love and generosity and that
you have given all to mankind.” God is greatly moved by
Tebow’s eloquence, and offers him a seat to his right.
Finally, God turns to Tom Brady: "And you, Tom, what do you
believe?" Tom replies, "I believe you're in my seat.
